I myself am a bengali but our family has been residing in Patna, Bihar since a long, long time. Honestly speaking, i have never felt any discrimination regarding my ethnicity and language. I really love the Durga Puja and during that time, you can see the whole bengali community gathered together and it can seem like a "Little Bengal" . I have often jokingly been called a "Bihari-Bengali Combo" or a "Hybrid" . But come on man, one needs to understand jokes. What are friends there for ?? Most of my friends have been bihari. I love the bihari festivals like Chhatt. My janmabhoomi as well as my karmabhoomi is Bihar. I am loyal to my state but i am also loyal to my language. I am proud of my state - Bihar, and I feel pleased in coversing in my mother tongue - Bangla. I am a Probashi Bangali and I have never felt neglected in any field. - A "Bengali-BIhari" :P
Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15684692880554392000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20092878.post-17116560765715168842010-10-20T08:42:08.661+05:302010-10-20T08:42:08.661+05:30last week our class held a similar discussion on t...last week our class held a similar discussion on this subject and you point out something we have not covered yet, thanks.

- KrisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
